Getting Started with Dofollo
Step 1: Sign Up or Sign In
Click the “Get Started” button at the top-right corner of dofollo.ai.
You can continue using:
- Your email address
- Google
- Facebook
If you’re a new user, this will create your account.
If you’re a returning user, it will log you in — no password required.
You’ll receive a 6-digit OTP via email for verification either way.
Step 2: Verify Your Email
After signing up, you’ll receive a 6-digit OTP (One-Time Password) in your inbox.
Enter this code to complete the verification process.
🔐 This helps secure your account and activate access to Dofollo’s dashboard.
Step 3: Add Your First Website
After email verification, if you haven’t added any websites yet, you’ll be automatically redirected to the Add Website page.
Enter your website URL and click Submit to begin the scan.
Step 4: AI-Powered Scanning Begins
Dofollo’s AI will now scan all pages of your website to:
- Discover existing internal and external links
- Identify contextual internal link suggestions
- Detect orphaned pages (pages with no internal links) and broken links
- Evaluate how well your pages are interconnected and identify pages that are underlinked or hard to reach
The scan time depends on the number of pages your website has. Once the scan is complete, you’ll receive an email notification so you can start reviewing and placing links.
Step 5: View Your Dashboard
Once scanning is complete, your dashboard gives you a complete overview of your website’s internal linking performance.
You’ll see:
- Total number of pages, internal links, and external links
- AI-powered link opportunities based on contextual relevance
- Broken links and orphan pages, if detected
- Trending pages with high potential for internal linking

Viewing and Managing AI Link Opportunities
Once Dofollo completes scanning your website, you’ll see the “Total Opportunity Found” box in the top-right corner of your Dashboard. This number represents the total internal link opportunities identified across all your website pages.
These suggestions are contextually generated based on your site content to help you strengthen internal linking without manual effort.
Step 6: View Opportunities by Page
Go to the Website Overview section to see internal link opportunities for each page.
You’ll see columns for:
- URL – The page path
- Incoming Links – Links pointing to this page
- Outgoing Links – Links going out from this page
- External Links – Outbound links to other websites
- Opportunities – Number of internal link suggestions for that page
Actions Available:
Next to each page in the Website Overview, you’ll find quick-access tools to manage links more effectively:
- Three-Dot Menu (⋮):
- 🚀 Start Link Planning – Open the AI Planning Panel to view and manage suggestions
- 🔄 Rescan – Refresh the page analysis to check for updated content or structure
- 🌐 Open Page in New Tab – View the live version of the page in your browser
- 🚀 Start Link Planning – Open the AI Planning Panel to view and manage suggestions
- Page-Level View Icon :
Opens a detailed view of all internal and external links found on the selected page.
Step 7: Open the Planning Panel
Click on the opportunity number next to any page in the Website Overview to open the Planning view for that specific page.
In this view, you’ll find:
- Incoming Link Suggestions – Potential internal links pointing to this page from others
- Outgoing Link Suggestions – Potential links from this page to other pages
- Suggested Anchor Text Area – Shows the specific section of the source page where the link is recommended, along with the suggested anchor text
- Contextual Match Score (%) – Reflects how contextually relevant each suggestion is
- Existing and Planned Links – Use the tabs to switch between existing internal links and the ones you’ve saved for future publishing
In the Planning view, each link suggestion includes a “Create Link” button on the right.
- If you’re using WordPress, clicking this button lets you publish the link directly to your website.
- If you’re not on WordPress, you can simply export the suggestion and implement it manually based on your preferred CMS or workflow.
- Dofollo allows you to export link suggestions for any page.
- You can export the data in:
- CSV format
- Excel (XLSX)
You can also:
- View existing links that are already published
- Track planned links that you’ve saved but not yet published
Step 8: WordPress Integration (One-Time Setup)
When you click “Create Link” for the first time on a WordPress site, you’ll be prompted to complete the WordPress Integration process.
- Enter your WordPress admin credentials securely
- Once integrated, your site will be connected to Dofollo
- You’ll only need to do this once per website
Step 9: Publishing a Link (WordPress Only)
After integration:
- Clicking “Create Link” opens the source page (the page where the link will be added)
- You’ll be shown the recommended anchor text
- Review or edit the anchor text as needed
- Click “Publish” to instantly insert the internal link into your content
